Doris has been preparing taxes for over 45 years, including several years spent working for one of the nations leading tax preparation companies, and has a real passion for helping others with what is often a dreaded chore. It gives her great pleasure to be able to take really good care of her clients (along with those she "inherited" from Jerry Hill and Lois Blevins). The very unexpected death of her beloved husband, Ron, in January of 2024 necessitated some major changes to the business, but Doris continues to prepare returns as she strives to pass on all of her knowledge to Richard.
Doris launched her own practice in 2008, after "retiring" from her church position, taking over several clients from two other tax professionals in the area who were ready to retire. Her client base has grown from @ 75 to nearly 300 since then!
